2009 sale activity edged up 5.5% above 2008 in Kelowna and surrounding area. Single family residences and strata gained more sales than mobile homes and lots & acreages.

Mobile home sale activity is a very small percentage of Kelowna and area real estate selling market - 4.5% in contrast to single family dwelling's 56.5% and strata dwelling's 35.5%.
Median price is the middle value of a set of values whereas the average price is the arithmetic average, computed by adding up a collection of numbers and dividing by their count.
