Addressing wasp infestation on your Kelowna home

It's that time of the year again we homeowners notice wasps building nests above the patio, below the deck, or under our home's eaves. Oh my - how do we take the sting out of these potentially nasty wasp infestations?

Shell Busey recommends first to call a local pest control company to get rid of the nests.

Then once the nests are removed and to keep the wasps at bay, Shell suggests hanging "The Orginal Waspinator". Apparently the Waspinator is similar to the idea of hanging stuffed paper bags to mimic wasps' nest. You hang up the Waspinator to look like a large nest.

Wasps are territorial and the Waspinator, a fake wasp nest, sends wasps in another directon.

The Waspinator is available on Shell Busey's HomeSmart Home Services office or at Zellers locations.
