Up to 57% of  the home buyers settled at buying a home at the full MLS®  list price or more and often found themselves in multiple offer scenarios.

Just how lofty were West Vancouver home sale prices the first three months of 2015?  

  • 66% fetched $2 million plus as high as just over $9 million,
  • 32% in the $1 million range and
  • 2% with a 'five digit dollar' sale price.

Normally strong monthly home sale numbers trend mid year but not this March in North Vancouver.  It was busy!  Spring is usually a good season for the real estate market and this March has been phenomenal.

Detached home sales skyrocketed to 189 in March from 124 in February.  March 2015 tops the list for the highest number of monthly home sales in the past ten years, followed next by:

The March Housing Market Update issued for Metro Vancouver reports "Demand continues to rise across Metro Vancouver's housing market

There were 4,060 sales in March.  This is up 53% compared to last year and nearly 27%  above the 10-year March average.

On the supply side there were 5,968 listed for sale last month.  That is up 13% from last year and about 5% higher than the 10 year March average.
