The article makes reference to Ontario but nonetheless we all have our door-to-door seller experiences ~ questionable solicitations.   Earlier this month my Kelowna neighbor gave a heads-up to the neighborhood about a representative from an alarm company that was going door-to-door to get people to upgrade their alarm system.  She checked out the company with the Better Business Bureau and found the company

• did not have a good rating
• they were not registered with the Better Business Bureau and
• they had over 1,300 complaints over the last three years.

Fortunately my neighbor was resourceful and quick to let others know not to get 'sucked in' with the alarm upgrade offer!
