January - April Kelowna residential real estate numbers

Extracting from the Okanagan Real Estate Board Mainline database here are some Kelowna single family residential real estate facts for the first four months of 2010. Here it goes.....

Upper Mission, Rutland North, Rutland South experienced the greatest number of home sales; 67, 54, 54 respectively. Their home sale numbers are up 26%, 38% and 125% respectively compared to same time frame last year plus their average* home price are up as well: 26%, 10% and 15%! As a matter of fact all Kelowna neighbhourhoods home prices are up just varies from neighbhourhood to neighbourhood how much.

Highest YTD average home price is found in Southeast Kelowna, then Upper Mission followed by Dilworth Mountain. Their average home price are up 29%, 26% and 13% from the same period in 2009 (Jan- Apr).
