Kelowna's popular selling price range

1,073 Kelowna homes have sold year-to-date.

The way the numbers are trending with only a month and a half away from year end we could be 'nip-and-tuck' with 2010 house sale total of 1,245!

Since 2001 Kelowna's strongest year for single family residential (home) sales has been 2007 with a total of 2,061.  The 2007 median house sale price came in at $449,000.

In 2008 total homes weakened by 40.42% from 2007 but it's median home sale price increased 7.57%.

Over the last ten years 2007 realized the strongest number of Kelowna home sales (2,061) and 2008 the strongest median house sale price ($483,000).  $440,000 is Kelowna's year-to-date median house sale price down 8.9% from 2008 high.  Note in 2001 Kelowna's median house sale price was $175,250!
