Personalized home search

A 'personalized home search' is a customized MLS home search function that can be sent to your inbox ~ it's as easy as that!  Once your search criteria is set-up the first email you receive will be a list of all the homes currently for sale with the parameters you have provided.  From then on you will automatically receive an email each time there is a new listing and  a price change made as soon as they hit the market.   No more relying on manual searches!

You may find the 'asap' updates a bit overwhelming or a nusance if you're in the beginning stages of your home search and would like first to familarize yourself with neighborhoods and house values to narrow down areas that appeal to you.  No worries.  The search can be set up to receive one email every evening or morning or monthly.  When you are ready to seriously purchase and focus on specific neighborhoods the search criteria can easily be tweaked accordingly.

I have set-up a sample 'personalized home search'' with parameters to include specifically single family residence in four Kelowna neigborhoods in the price range of $400,000-$550,000 with a minimum of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  When I open the link emailed to my inbox it shows the following frame of 62 listings available with my search parameters.

In the frame click to learn what is available to you.  For example, you can change the frame to show 100 listings rather than 10 if that is your preference. When you click on a listing MLS#  it will open up full MLS listing details.  At this stage you can also open the listing photo album  plus a map to show you exactly where the listing is located.  In addition you can manage your list upon viewing a listing by either adding it to Favourites, Possibilities or Discard ~ it's up to you!

Anytime there are new listings or changes to listings you will receive an email.   Initially upon receipt of email you may think your frame looks the same but check on the left hand side where the date is shown under the column "Revised".  At the top of this column it will show the current date of any new listings or changes to listings.  What is really neat is you can check into and view your personalized home search 24/7.
