Salmon Arm real estate

In spite of Salmon Arm real estate sale activity being down the first ½ year by 22.5% compared to 2008, down 54% compared to 2007 this July has seen to date a 50% increase in single family residential sales compared to July 2008. Interestingly the July sale activity is all less than ½ mil - predominately in the $200,000-$300,000 range - 70%.

Good news is there is, that right now there is twice the selection of homes for sale compared to previous years. Plus the real estate market in Salmon Arm has adjusted approx 10-15% in 2008 from 2007 and another 5-10% ytd compared to 2008. Plus interest rates are still historically low.
