In West Vancouver, there were 18 sales in the month of January. The sales to new listings ratio was 11% which represents a buyer’s market. For January 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 0.4%, which is the same as January 2018. Sales for January 2019 were up by 3 units compared to January 2018. 

The West Vancouver listing inventory has increased by 52 homes compared to January 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is down by 17% compared to January 2018. The West Vancouver median price decreased by $590,000 from December 2018 to January 2019 ($2,890,000 to $2,300,000).

 In North Vancouver, there were 35 sales in the month of January. The sales to new listings ratio was 20% which represents a buyer’s market. For January 2019, the sales to total active listings percentage was 11%, a decrease from 13% in January 2018. Sales for January 2019 were up by 5 units compared to January 2018. 

 The North Vancouver listing inventory has increased by 83 homes compared to January 2018. The average price year-to-date (YTD) is up 10% compared to January 2018. The North Vancouver median price decreased by $59,000 from December 2018 to January 2019 ($1,650,000 to $1,591,000).
